Volvo Penta 4 cyl with DuoProp

Has anyone seen or owned a Volvo Penta 4 cyl engine with a Duoprop outdrive?

I saw this setup on a boatshow in 1992.



Looks like a nice setup for a 17 footer.

Apparently the 2.30:1 ratio works with the OHC 4s. The performance gain is not quite as much as with the larger engines but it's still an improvement. You don't see as many nor as often probably due to budget limitations of the small boat owners.
It would be interesting to see some performance stats on this.

Saw this setup on a 28 Bayliner with twin 125's
They were added after a few years.The boat couldn't get out of it's own way!!!
After the addition of the Duo Prop.
It actually move a bit faster and low end performance was like unbelievable!!!
It was still way under powered but actuall pulled a tube.
