Volvo Penta 5.0GI fuel pump cooling hose

Folks i need some guidance to the location of the hose that cools the fuel pump on 5.0GI. Long story short, bought a 2000 Four Winns 238 Vista with a bad engine. I noticed a small diameter hose that comes from the fuel pump towards the side of the engine and is disconnected. Can someone point me to where it might go.

On my GXI the intake comes from the thermostat housing and the exit hose drains to the port manifold I believe. Your`s may be similar or not.

Since my manifolds where removed i had no idea. I will look at the manifolds to see of any sign of a small hose connection. This is my first volvo engine and outdrive so i was in the woods. Thanks for the heads up.
