Hello
I would like to have help to selection the single propeller to be applied to 2007 Cobalt 232, 23´ 9” length, 4600 lbs weight, with Volvo Penta 5.7 GXi, 320 HP engine, and Drive SX-A 1:60.
I bought the boat, and I don't know if the actual propeller Aluminiun,14.8 diameter x 17 pitch is the right one.
I sail at sea, and I don't know the maximum engine speed / rpm at WOT with this propeller.
The boat planes with the engine at 3300 rpm +/-.
Thanks

What does it do full throttle, in terms of rpm and gps ? Your range is 4600-5000 rpm and limiter around 5100-5150 approximately

Yep, need to know what RPM you are getting with the throttle mashed and the motor trimmed properly

Max WOT is 4800 - 5200 RPM

Ok. You need to go full beans and trim up. Record the gps and rpms. I can tell you that I have the similar merc version of the engine..and you really want to be above 4800 for sure. Preferably around the 5k That’s where I think they make the power. Anything less is going to suffer. Especially down low

Without knowing where you are at with your boat and current prop, no one can make a guess if you have the right prop or the wrong prop

The right prop will allow your motor to hit the top of the full RPM spec lightly loaded

You never want to be over-prop'd
