Hello all..
I currently own a volvo D3 220hp which has done approx 270 hours..
there is a problem that the plastic inlet manifold splits along its bonded seam and inturn this destroys the turbo as it is working overtime trying to achieve its boost pressure which it cannot as it leaks from the split inlet manifold...!!
this has happened 5 times now and the vovo dealer just replaces the faulty parts...!! however there is obviously an underlyng issue...!
Has anyone had similar problems with faulty inlet manifolds and turbos on these engine..??
any advice greatly appriechated thanks in advance..
