Can anyone help me?

My temp., oil, volts light on dash board remain on after starting. Are they meant to go off? the engine is an aqad31A. The engine performs well and the alternator works.

Any suggestion please?

Just to clarify this is one light which shows for all 3 items, correct?

If this is the case, find the oil pressure switch (should be on the side), the temp (thermostat housing) and volts relay. There is voltage on one side of the light, and it comes on when the other side of the light is grounded. Pull the wire off the temp switch, then the oil pressure switch. If at any time the light goes out you found the issue. If it doesn't go out with oil or temp, need to find the voltage relay (just guessing it is a relay). It could also use the older setup by applying power to the bulb and having a diode in line so when the Alt reaches full power the voltage drop across the bulb is zero and the light goes out. Check the first two and see what you get
