Volvo Penta DP-SM alignment tool

Sorry to ask what might be very obvious to some, but will Volvo Penta SX alignment tool work for a DP-SM drive. They may be identical, but I'm just not sure. It seems that every alignment tool on eBay for a Volvo Penta SX drive has no further description or indication that it will also work for a DP-SM drive. Thanks so much for any help anyone can provide.

Ayuh,.... A gimbel bearin' alignment tool is a gimbel bearin' alignment tool,....

Merc, OMC, 'n Volvo all use the same tool,....

Matter of fact, I believe you'll find the gimbel bearin's are the same too,....
