Volvo Penta Hydraulic Question

I just aquired a 1992 Wellcraft Excell 20 SX 4.3 GM V6 430B The Drive is a Volvo Penta SP CD or 430SP I am not sure exactly what to call it, I just finished Installing one of the Trim cylinders back on boat, I replaced the leaking seal behind the wiper seal. and even slipped piston back in rather easily without special tools,(Ask Me Later) When filling the hydraulic fluid back up in the reservoir do I start using right away or do I bleed line till cylinders are full? Lost at this point. Oh and do I need regular hydraulic oil? thanks.
