As I stated in one of my previous posts the first timr out this year was running rough took a long time to start and no WOT just bogged down.Now with the muffs on no start at all now, new wires, plugs, fuel filters canister and inline.While trying to start I heard a noise coming from the ignition coil and felt it was REAL HOT.My question is could this be the result of all my problems?I pulled the spark wire from the dist.while trying to start, no spark.I put a voltage tester on each post of the coil getting a reading of 6 volts. Took the wires off each coil post got 12 volts is the ignition coil cooked?The Volvo part # I have is 855706 it is from a 4.3 Volvo Penta 430B Will any coil do or do I need a marine engine coil?Any idea on availability and price thanks Star.
