Volvo Penta outdrive and seals

A couple of questions. 1- How do you, or is there a way to identify the type of outdrive on a 86 Bayliner with volvo Penta(replaced in 91) motor.

2- the seals on the outdrive probably need to be replaced, how many are there and approx. est cost to replace the seals.

There is a tag with a serial number on the top of the upper gearbox. That's a good start but it'll also help if you post some photos.
