I have a Volvo Penta AQ231A hooked up to a DP drive. There loaded in a 1988 Weekender.<br /><br />I don't know which DP drive I have. I think a 290 but don't know for sure. Is there a quick identifier even when the decals are worn off?<br /><br />Also, what kind of performance upgrades are available for a AQ231A? (GM305?) I was thinking along the lines of a high<br />performance electronic distributor,wires, K&N Air Intake, or whatever?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for any and all help.
