I am relatively new to boating and I am wondering how much “slop” is “normal” on the throttle control? The lever moves forward to darn near the horizontal position before the engine responds. I have checked and the cable is NOT moving as I actuate the lever forward so all the “slop” appears to be in the control box or whatever you call it. Any suggestions appreciated!
