I have a friend that just bought a mid 90's cuddy with a VP 5.7 and duoprop. And that is all I know so far about the boat. He said it starts and runs fine but the steering wheel feels locked(like a car wheel before you turn the key). He disconnected the cables from both ends, and the wheel spins and the cable seem to slide fine from either end. His first boat and I am not mechanically inclined and have not even seen the boat yet. So what could be the problem be?? He said the outdrive does not budge from outside. does some one have a good diagram of an i/o steering system???
