Volvo Penta SX Gear Ratio

Hello,

I believe the SX outdrive comes in multiple gear ratios. How do I determine which gear ratio I have?

I just bought a 2002 Glastron SX 175 with the VP 3.0 GS sterndrive. WOT trimmed up I am approaching 5000 RPM. I know this is high and since I am not doing any watersports I am thinking about moving up to a 21p prop. knowing this will help me research different props through others experiences. I looked through the manuals I received and cannot see where the ratio is referenced.

The SX drive should have a plate riveted to the drive on the port side.
It will list the gear ratio.

Ayuh,... Basically, you have a 2:1... If you're starting with a 19",... A 21" should be about right...
