Is this true ?

The Engine and drive system are twin 5.7 litre OMC sterndrives ( Chev marine engines ). The stern drives are in excellent condition and take Volvo Penta SX parts, as Volvo Penta took over OMC in 1993.

93, no, in 94 Volvo and OMC went into a joint venture. 1998 OMC sterndrive division ended production and in 99 It was all Volvo.
There were kits to convert the earlier Cobra drive drives to the SX style.
