This is my first year winterizing the New package, I have read Don's Sticky but want to do it right.
I can get Synthetic Volvo Penta 30w oil but do I need to buy that or can you use a Name brand syn 10-30? Napa doesn't carry 30W. Don't plan on using it during the winter months unless the weather is good and the fishing picks up.
On the engine mounted raw water pump is it better to drain it with the brass drain screw instead of pulling off the 2 hoses? That would be much easier.
