Hello All,

Is it possible to convert a 4.3 with an Alpha 1 gen 2 to use a crank driven Volvo style raw water pump? I've seen some conversion kits for V8 equipped boats, but I've yet to come across anything for the V6's.

unless you are converting to a Bravo Drive (which has the crank driven raw water pump), no need to add a crank driven pump to an alpha installation. the water flow helps cool the drive.

if you are trying to get around the annual maintenance, you still need to pull the drive every year to inspect the alignment, bellows, gimble and u-joints.
