Volvo SX-A Outdrive Help

Hi, I have a Volvo SX-A outdrive Ratio is 1.60. The motor is working however the pump is not. This is is the external mount unit and I was seeing if its was possible to just replace the pump? If so does anyone have a good part number for the unit?

Ayuh,.... Without the Full Volvo alphanumeric model number, yer not gotta get a part number for what ya need....

It's the Volvo equalavent of a Serial number, which is always important in buyin' the Right parts,...

No, I am talking about the trim pump for the outdrive. The motor/pump that lifts and lowers the outdrive.

The motor pump is located externally on the outdrive mount under the outdrive.

The pump and motor are not sold separately.

I hear the motor running, but the pump will not move the unit up or down. Does this mean its shot, or any ideas?

I got the new pump installed... tested it and it worked great for 5 min. Now the trim switch on the shifter has gone out. I can jump the wires and it works. Does anyone know if you can buy just the toggle switch?

Are you sure it's not a relay or a fuse or circuit breaker? It's very un-common for the trim switch itself to be bad.
Need the engines model or serial number to locate where those relays and fuses are.

I made it out to the boat today and tested everything. You are correct it was the relay. The motor is a 5.0 GXIG, 3869364, 4012205339. Does anyone know the part numbers to either OEM or aftermarket (ARCO).

Are you sure it's not a relay or a fuse or circuit breaker? It's very un-common for the trim switch itself to be bad.

Go up to the top of this page, and click on Volvo Penta Parts, then choose the OEM parts so you can get the proper OEM number for your particular engine. Look up your engine, not the drive.

I did try that when I first found out the relay was bad, but cannot find it. Looked through all of the engines, found electrical parts, senders, but no relays. The relay is a Hella 4RD 931 680-01; 6110 A3. Does anyone know where these can be purchased?
