I have a Volvo AQ171 with a 290 stern drive. I have a digital trim gauge that is not reading properly, and at times it will start clicking for no reason and then stop again. The gauge will read -4 when the engine is all the way up, or at times it will have characters on the digital display that are not numbers. I have a trim and tilt switch that works properly, but the button that should bring the stern drive out of the water does not work. Doe anyone have any suggestions.
