VolvoPenta discontinuing 'D' series Duo-Prop

As seen on a listing at 'that' auction site, "VOLVO HAS DISCONTINUED PRODUCTION OF THE "D" SERIES" duo prop. It appears to be replaced by the "I" series. I suppose if you need a replacement on either the front or rear of a "D" series, this could be a good thing (discontinued item pricing) or a bad thing (no longer available after stock is gone). In either case, be aware.

Are you saying there will be no props to work in place of the D series. Another words I series is not compatible with the D series.

The 'I' series will work in place of the 'D' series but it appears as though the blade geometry is a bit different between the two so it might not be a good idea to mix them, if that is even possible. (And of course the 'F' series will continue to be a choice for these drives.)
