VP 5.7 PHUS - No Fuel

Looking for a little guidance. My '84 Albemarle has been out of commission for the last 5 yrs. due to a much needed overhaul. All wiring was needing replaced as well as the outdrive needing resealed/refinished.
I replaced the motor harness on the 95' VP 5.7L PHUS TPI with a good used harness. The old harness was totally trashed. I went over the used harness, repairing all questionable wiring. Everything tested good that I was able to meter with the exception of the ECU.
This weekend, I changed oil, plugs and fuel/water separators. I can get the motor to run by pouring gas in the throttle body, but dies immediately. I have confirmed that both fuel pumps are cycling and used a separate fuel source to attempt to get it running.
How can I confirm that the injectors are firing? Or could the injectors be clogged due to the length of time the boat sat with old fuel?
Thanks in advance for any help

It may have some clogging injectors but don't see it being all of them. My thought is the injectors are not getting a signal from the ECU. Get a Noid light and see if the injectors are getting any signal to fire

Thanks, Dodge! I'll try and pickup a Noid light tonight and report back.

Well, I followed AllDodges advise and borrowed a Noid light to troubleshoot my no fuel problem.
I first verified that the injector harness was getting 12V, which it was.
Next I plugged in the Noid light, cranked the engine over and was getting injector pulse.
So, next I put a pressure gauge on the high pressure fuel line and determined I was getting sufficient fuel pressure. All good!! WTF!!!!

At this point I was pretty much out of options after checking all other wiring and obvious issues. I don't have any diagnostic tools, so I'm pretty much sunk!

So what did I do next??

I smacked the injectors a few times with a wrench and guess what?

THE DAMN THING STARTED!!!

Guess a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while after all!

Corrosion on the contacts or sticking/bad injector.

Get them cleaned and flow tested

Dodge,
Contacts were all good. Thinking the same with a flow test and cleaning.
Thanks for the help.
