Having recently cleaned the fuel injectors (and changed the o-rings), I was testing today to inspect for leaks.
I hooked up a gauge to the high-pressure side on the fuel rail and turned the key to the on position without starting the engine.
The pressure jumped instantly to the expected 50psi, but fell down to 40psi within a few minutes. Is this expected or should the system hold pressure? No leaks were observed.
