Anybody know if Volvo penta makes a stainless steel prop for aq270? Prop number is 814633 14x19Rh . ..all I can find is the same one I have ..think it's cast iron maybe or aluminum....not sure....it's original prop .... I can only get her to 25 thinking maybe stainless could pick up a few mph ..but she is in a 22 ft 84 Bayliner Capri so maybe she's topped out not sure

These 125/130 Volvo's need the factory prop for best performance.
These 125's need the VOLVO prop.
The aftermarket ones are ok for the bigger motors not the 4cyl. Volvo's
.
Prop story: one of my friends had a 22ft. with a 125 He asked me to look at it as he was having trouble with acceleration and performance.
I checked everything and found nothing.
Just happened to look behind a pile of stuff and saw an old Volvo prop.
Looked and saw a new Solas prop on the drive.
Had him change it back and the problem went away.
The 125 prop needs the wide sweep that the OEM prop has.

The original Volvo propellers that work the best are the the “elephant ear” style. The flukes are very large and if you see one you will know what I am describing. The 125-151 engines have to turn up to at least 5k which is what they are designed for. If they are over pitched it hurts them.
