VP Manifold riser heat question

I was flushing the rocks and sand out of my engine, 5.7 ltr VP. after flushing I ran it on the muffs for a bit to run some water through the system. after I shut it off, only ran a minute or so, I felt the risers and found the top of one riser was warmer than the other. Both manifolds felt cool to the touch and the risers were cool except the top of the one riser was definatly warmer, not the sides, just the top.

What is this telling me?

Re: VP Manifold riser heat question

Nothing, it is normal for one riser to run warmer then the other, has to with uneven water flow at idle on muffs.
