I have a 2001 Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrive type DP-DM where the exhaust is not coming through the props. The exhaust and its associated black stains has been bubbling up through the outdrive from the rear of the exhaust baffle. I am wondering if the baffle was not properly attached at the factory, or may have come loose. The front of the baffle is attached with a hose-clamp, but the rear will easily pull away from the outdrive. Because the rear side of baffle inserts into the outdrive I do not see anyway to connect a hose clamp or other type of clamp. Do I have to remove an access cover to correct, and what part or parts are required if missing? It hasnt been a real problem except for having to clean off the exhaust stains every time I put the boat back on the trailer. Any help on how to gain access to correct the problem, and where to get the parts would be greatly appreciated.
