VRO alarm wiring diagram

Any one know where I can find a good diagram for the VRO and alarm system for an ocean runner? Not exactly sure of the year as the tag is faded, I believe it is a 94 or so, has the big red plug. Before you say go buy a manual, I am on Curacao and the mail takes about 3-4 weeks!

I am getting a constant alarm when the key is turned or the engine is running. We have been re rigging this motor and now we either goofed someting up or truly have a problem.

You might try the maxrules web site. They have some wiring diaghrams. An OEM Service Manual may be found at the marineengine website. Have your model number ready.

Try the wiring diagrams at the top of this forum. If you have a constant horn look for a tan wire in the system being grounded or start disconnecting sensors in the system. Vro, oil tank, temp senders and ect.

What size motor?


If a 150up you have a vaccum switch that will go off if your VRO fuel pump reaches over 7HG.
