vro disconnect

I have a 1988 evenrude 200 and want to disconnect the vro and mix oil&gas can anyone help

disconnect the plug on the sending unit on the oil tank. disconnect the harness going to the fuel pump. cut the oil line, and plug it so there is not air leak. premix you fuel, and disconnect the fuel like at the carbs, and pump the primer bulb, until you get gas that is colored like the oil. usually blue tint. reconnect carbs.

i would since it is an 88 and not upgraded system.

We don't know that it hasn't been upgraded. But that brings up a good point, has it?

no it hasnt been upgraded the reason im disconnecting it is the one that had it before me burnt the motor and had it rebuilt but didnt do anything to vro just started mixing oil to be safe

Most likely the oil injection had nothing to do with why the motor had to be rebuilt. If he was pre-mixing then he's probably already eliminated the oil line.
