vro head aches i think

1998 50 hp johnson spl
model #j50tslecc
compression at 145 each cylinder !:facepalm:
having problems with no oil light coming on!(scarey) checked plugs top plug carmel color ,bottom plug really oiley
cleaned vro everything looked new ! checked all lines gas and oil no air leaks ! changed oil to injeks ,checked oil tank everything worked as service manual says
cleaned carbs found very clean like vro !
no oil light comes on randomly some times at plain wot 5900 rpms and sometimes when putting in gear !
always smokes bad at start and while going slow !
will no oil light come on when getting to much oil ?

Oil light is supposed to only come on when the OMS pump detects no oil at the OMS pump.

i will have to go and get vro checked out, it seems to be misreading from the looks of everything !
