VRO ,how to bypass?dont have tank&connections

on VRO{pump?} looks like two hose connectors, 1 small clear,1 larger black,<br />Unattached connector on motor,5 wire,black,white,green red,blue.<br />2 ,connectors,not connected,black,white, other end goes to lower unit<br />also have heavier blue and green goes to lower unit,is connected.<br />also from 3 way connector on rear starbord corner is a hose with v cutout,unconnected.<br />ther are 2 other hoses connected to 3 way connector. Dave...any particular reason to disconnect? <br /><br />Just disconnect the oil line to the lower engine pan oil nipple and cover/plug the nipple, disconnect the leads coming from the oil reservoir and the electrical connector coming from the VRO. Pre mix the gas. That's all you need to do.

OB,I didnt get the vro tank or connections with this motor and I never had vro before.Theres more stuff on this motor I dont know what they are.I dont even know where to hook up the fuel line or what connector is needed.Clymer doesnt help much.I have an oem ordered but Im anxious. davexx

There will be two nipples on the engine pan connector....on large (fuel) and a smaller one (oil).<br /><br />Cap the oil nipple.<br /><br />Find the connector from the VRO pump electrical harness and disconnect it. The lead from the VRO oil reservoir will look like a black lamp cord. Disconnect the two connections from the oil reservoir. Again, premix your fuel. That should do it.
