vro oil injection

just installed the oil tank on my boat with a new hose and bulb. fired up the motor today, the bulb stays firm but i was wondering if there is any sure way to see if the motor is getting oil

Safest thing to do is "double oil". Put a gas/oil mix (50:1) your gas tank, and take it out on the water. Note the oil level in the oil tank when you start, and see if you have used oil after the trip.

ah good call. will the motor still run well if its double oiled.

It will run fine for one trip to test the VRO...

... and it certainly will run better than with NO OIL!
