There are 4 fittings on the pump. The pulse hose which is connected, oil in which is the smaller hose with the plastic tube, fuel/oil out to carbs which is connected and fuel in which is the only one left and between the oil and pulse hoses.

That hose you show comes from the overboard indicator line. It acts as a siphon to get rid of any water in the pan. It just stands up in the pan.

Dhadley, there are hoses hooked up to fittings, behind oil tube, bottom and top rear fittings on pump.I dont know where they go to.also that large line on the rear 3 way looks like it has some kind of small filter in it.here is a better pic of the 3 way that goes thru starbord rear of lower cowl.

still dont know where to hook up line from tank and any fitting reqd.(thats why my handle used to be "sixfootpole"  davexx
Im not really sure how to explain it any better so bear with me. There are 4 fittings. 2 of them are connected. That leaves us 2 options. A large black fitting and a smaller fitting with a hose and plastic tube on it.

The oil line goes to the smaller fitting with the plastic tube on it. The fuel line goes to the only fitting left. The black one between the oil fitting and the pulse line.

davexx, the picture of the 3 way connecter is part of your tell/tale system.

It's a syphon system that incorporates the tell-tale. If/when you get a surge of water into the lower pan area, that just sits there (say a following sea or a quick chop of the throttle) that large hose will "suck"/syphon that water up and out with the telltale water. Ooopps, miss'd Dhadleys post!
