Considering some winter maintenance, I had a discussion with my mechanic today about possibly rebuilding my VRO pump with one of the kits I have heard about. He suggests I apply that money to the cost of a new pump based on the results that he hears about. He has never used the rebuild kit, just replaces the pump when needed or bypasses it depending on what the customer wants. He says that most of the people that have used the rebuild kit ended up buying a new pump before long, anyway.<br /><br />Charles
