VRO tank wiring question on a 1989 150 rude

Hello all,

Its that time of year again where I am trying to get things going. I purchased a new VRO tank complete for my motor, the question I have is where do the 2 wires from the tank get connected to under the hood? The old tank I removed last year and completely forgot where the wires went. I know on the old tank there were just 2 wires wires with no connector, this new tank has 2 wires but it has a connector, I know I am going to have to cut the connector and splice the 2 wires directly like the old tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The black wire goes to ground, the tan wire goes to a single tan wire leading to the harness. The tan wire should have a bullet connector on it.

Are you talking about the tan wire from the 3 pin harness from the VRO pump?
