SHE seems to suck oil because the level goes down. but why isnt she sucking gas properly? I have gone over this engine with a fine tooth comb??? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What number VRO pump did you install and what is your motor's model number?

Did you also replace the pulse limiter fitting that was included with the VRO kit?

Did you check for air leaks in the fuel lines by using clear fuel line as outlined in the service manual?

If you have to press the "primer", you probably have carb problems.
