have a 93 90hp johnson that i purchased rebuilt. been running past 6 months with premix oil. want to hookup vro. tested it as described in this forum with 1/4 clear hose marked every 1/2 in. used 1" of oil in 1 min. at idle but i couldnt feel pulses on hose . is this vro ok or should i continue mixing? thanks.

it's pumping oil but is the warring system working . pinch off oil supply line wait for horn to sound off.if this system was disable so was the warning system. check the wires back to where they connect and check that all the pins are pushed in.it was probably disabled for reason i would leave well enough alone.

yes warning system is disconnected .will alarm signify insufitiant oil or no oil/thanks for your input

yes it will.there's a switch on the oil side of the pump it has to make contact 10 times every 30 sec if not the horn will sound.
