wake tower / hull/deck stregnth

im re fitting my boat.....old one....69

i will be adding a tower.....not sure yet if its gonna be a tower or radar arch type....


all the deck will be reinforced.....glass and wood......

any suggestions on reinforcement??

I added a tower and used 6"x8" 1/8" thick stainless steel plates contoured to match the hull behind the mounts.

steel backing brackets are typical, as mike said, sorry to be redundant. that is what i used on mine this winter. very strong. check for tightness each time. they will get looser. normal.
