Wakeboard Tower on 20' Chapparal

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of having an aftermarket wakeboard tower professionally installed on my 1990 20' Chapparal. I am concerned with the structural integrity of the boat around where the tower would be installed. Worst case senario is towing a wakeboarder and having the tower pull out of the boat and hurting somebody. Anybody have experiences with aftermarket wakeboard tower installations? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

a friend has some breaking fiberglass on his searay from his tower.... do your homework on the installation... just because the installation is professional doesn't guarantee that it is done right

fabrication of bracket/bracing inside the hull may be needed
