I have a 1984 galaxie tri-hull i was considering on adding a wakeboard tower on it. I have tried to do some research to find other tri hull boats with wakeboard towers but i cant seem to find any. So i was wondering if anybody has done it?

The folks at Monster Towers make some that would probably fit.
The bigger question is why? A tri hull is not a good boat for wakeboarding and it's not a good idea to pull a tube from a tower. The biggest benefit would be to make ski starts easier or maybe for wakeskating. I don't think you would add any value to your boat.

My vote is why not if you really like the boat, but I would want it to be an 17'-18' tri hull at least (I own a 16' tri and I wouldn't do it with it, but I would use a short pylon with it). I agree that it won't really help the value of the boat and I would not consider it a recoverable investment when you sell the boat. I added a tower to my 1976 19' V-hull this year and love it. I'ma beginning wakeboarder. The tower is good for startsand I don'tr seem to tire as quickly. The biggest bonus is the space we now have in the boat by getting rack and putting the boards on the tower. Would love to get a ski rack too. When I wanted to try a higher tow point, I built an inexpensive pylon. There are a couple threads here, but it's essentially a 6-7' piece of conduit or a floor jack with some eye bolts in it, 3+ ratchet straps, and a block of wood for the foot. A couple hours later you have a functional pylon to test. I built one and used it 3-4 times to see how the boat would work with the levered pull of the higher tow point. You might also look at an Insanity Pylon if you have a shorter tri-hull. They make a model for shorter boats.

If you go with a tower, there are a bunch of vendors, many of which sell the same towers with different names. Try Aerials, Hydrowake, Avenger, Monster, CMC, etc.
