I'm having difficulty with creating a consistant good wakesurf wake. I have 900 lb of balast that in the past has created amazing surf wake. One guy I took out was a professional wakeboarder and he was foaming at the mouth at the wake. Then there are other times most of the variables the same and the wake is so small. I had a very very big man on the boat the other day (on the balast side) plus the balast and wakeplate down and not a good wake. It was an awesome wakeboard wake father out but horriable wakesake wake.
Last night I had basically no weight on the other than the balast and pulling a tube an the was the biggest I've even seen.

any Thoughts???

Re: wakesuring help

You probably have this figured out by now but...
Calibria is a wide boat with a fairly flat bottom. That makes it hard to get a great surf wake. You probably want more than 1200# of ballast in total. Mostly on the surf side. The wake plate should be up all the way to 3/4 up. It is important to get as much list as you can to the surf side. Boat speed should be about 11mph on a GPS or PerfectPasss. One trick is to have someone hang off the tower if that's legal where you ride.
It's a nice boat.
