I'l looking at adding a waketower to my boat. I really like the looks (and price) of the single top bar towers, specifically the Joystick Pro series or the aerial ascent. Are these towers stiff enugh? Anyone have one like this? There are a number of vendors that have similar style towers I know.

Re: Waketower designs

When I researched for mine I always read that single bar towers tend to have more flex and bounce in them. But is depends on your budget. I just got one and recommended that same tower to another user and both are happy.

Hear is a good one you may like.

Thanks Solar. I am budget sensitive since the boat is a 1976 that we will likely upgrade in 5 years or so, but I want a safe and effective tower.

It is really not much more to get one from these guys:

I have the Vapor tower on mine and c ould not be happier. It is worth every dime. Buy a good one and you will have no need to upgrade.....
