I'm planning on changing to electric downrigers and have found a killer deal on a pair of Walker electrics (tournament models).
Around here (Puget Sound), most folks use Scotty's, but I am not a fan of the belt drive system.
There appear to be some major advantages to the Walker's but before i get them I'd like to hear from anyone with experience with them.
So...Has anyone used Walker downriggers IN THE SALTWATER? I know they're good in the freshwater.
