I was wanting to find out which yrs. and models that the electric start will fit my 1972 18hp. evinrude, thanks, mike

Not 100% sure but I think you can go back at least as far as 1968 and as late as that model was produced. You can also expand your search as the 20hp Johnson of those years used the same parts for the starters and brackets.
