Boat: 1976 Glastron V-195 w/ smart tabs, Mercrusier 888 WOT Spec-4200
Weight:2800lbs full of fuel+ people, normal load- 4 adults+2 or 4 small children
Current props:
14.25x19 Hustler (heavy cupping) - 4100rpm @ ~47mph GPS -great handling prop, daily use, holeshot is good
14.25x21 MI Wheel (Standard cup) - 4050rpm @ ~48.8 GPS - ok prop, but hustler handles much better in turns and is more responsive to trim, holeshot is as good as the hustler

Last year we took up wakeboarding. Keeping the Hustler at a relatively steady speed is a challenge and seems to lug the motor a tiny bit. Best wakeboard speed for has this hull just on plane. I am interested in moving to a 4 blade prop to see if it will help with a more consistent pull that doesn't wear the driver out as bad.

I think an Amita 14.25x19 4 blade may be a good starting spot as I think i would be best basing new prop pitch against the MI Wheel since it likely has a similar cup? Any ideas?

Jason, that is the exact prop that will take care of your problem.
