Want to Install Gauges

Hey everybody. I have a 2006 Merc 115 4 Stroke EFI on my pontoon boat. I want to add a speedometer (the one that hooks up to the tube on the motor), and some gauges to monitor the motor, like oil pressure, water temp and water pressure. I am looking for a place to get these gauges. I know that iBoats sells gauges, but I don't know which ones are most important for monitoring the engine. Are the ones I mentioned the ones I should get? Also, Iboats sells some gauges that match the ones on my boat. I assume that they will work with my motor (like generic gauges work in cars) am I correct? Thanks for any useful input on this topic.

Best regards,
Wes

Being a newby, I'll leave the other questions to the more qualified on this forum but, you failed to mention one that I would consider important...the tachometer.

In order of importance (in my view): Water Pressure, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Voltmeter, Tachometer, Fuel, Speedometer and if you can't see the engine from the helm, a trim gauge. Chances are you have Teleflex or Faria gauges. They are available here on iBoats.

Thanks Silvertip,
Yep, mine are Teleflex. Trim gauge is on the list because I can't see the dang motor. One PITA issue with toons for sure. Alrighty then, I'll do some shopping. I'm selling the boat and want to set it up right for the next owner.

Thanks again.
