This may not be a great revelation but almost everytime I install a L/U I seem to fight with the shifting linkage screw.<br /><br />The other day while doing this little chore I had a thought. I went to the hardware store and matched the slotted screw with a hex head screw. With the aid of a long allen wrench it took about 30 seconds. Hope this will help, I'm changing all four of mine.
