Wanted: ALpha 1, Gen 1 drive parts

We lost the drive gears on a 89 Alpha 1, Gen 1 outdrive. Does anyone have a 1:50 gear set and bearings?

I ended up buying a complete rebuild kit: gear set, bearings, shims and a seal kit. My cost was $470 locally through Sierra but i found them at www.ebasicpower.com for $300 shipped. I don't know how GLM parts are, but we'll give it a shot.

Lost the same drive on my boat, ordered new out drive both lower and upper halfs from sterndrive engineering, recieved units in 4 days bolted right up with no problems all for $1200 plus $50 for a complete install kit. Comes with a 3 year warenty, unconditional, abuse, neglect, strike etc.... so far so good, glad I went this route rather than rebuild
