Wanted: Lower unit for 68 Johnson or links to parts

I need new gears, impeller, carb float and gaskets. Cant find on iboats store. what year range do i have I know my current lower unit is a 1970.

End of fishing season last year I ran into log or something and it mashed up the gears n my lower unit (not the first time) this time I was using a steel prop pin as my boat eats up brass pins.

So in the past I was able to order a new lower unit off of ebay for $70 and now im not so luck.

Does anyone have a lower unit or even the set of gears w/ dog leg gear? Or possible links

They didn't make a 15hp in 68, post the model number off the transom clamp.

its a Sea horse but made by johnson so all the parts fit

Well to find the old goodies try posting a want ad for a used set on AOMCI.ORG under webvertize, someone should have a spare set.

PS- I have a full set out of a 83 9.9 if you say 15 parts will fit.

They didn't make a 9.9 OR a 15hp Johnson OR Evinrude in 1968 OR 1970. You need to find out what you have before trying to order parts for it.

We're on the same wavelength F_R. I could also throw in the forward out of my 7.5, clutch dog and reverse from the 15.
