What sites do you recommend for hosting your pic for your avitar? I want to get an avitar up. Is there any inexpensive / free hosting sites that would work good for this?<br /><br />Thanks for any tips.<br /><br />Jeff

just remember to resize your picture to around 100x100 first.

Still in process...<br /><br />Have pic on xs.to and is under 100 pixels x 100 pixels. Think it is 98 X 76 or so.<br /><br />Went to update my profile and put in select avitar. It sees my file, but only shows up as a red X in the box and also shows up that way in the forums on my screen

Try a different picture host. For some reason, some don't work well. I've got a ton of space left on mine. Email the pic to me and I'll put it in my host server if you're interested, Jay.

That happend to me nothinbig. I did what sangerwaker said. Tried a different picture host and BAM Avatar works.<br /><br />This should be in the FAQ section.

I also found out you need to be patient. Once you are seeing it on your profile, it doesn't show up in the forums until about 10 minutes later. Maybe it was just because the forum was busy at that time, but I almost gave up again and a little while later it was there. If your pic is showing up in your profile, it will be on your new posts eventually.

Also, my avitar only shows up on my posts after I set it up and got it going. All my old posts in my past threads have no avitar <br /><br />Never saw that on a BB before, but maybe that is a way for UBB to save space.<br /><br />Glad I have it going now tho'...
