Warm Engine Hard Starting

My 2002 5.0 gxi is hard starting when the engine is warm. In contradiction to starting it cold when it fires first crank. I end up having to disengage the gears at the shifter and open the throttle up to get it to fire. It acts like it is flooded but since it is fuel injected, wasnt sure that that could happen to a fuel injected engine. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem, I have been told it may be the idle air control. Going to order one monday

I had the same prob with my silverado. Same prob on the boat?

Turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. $15 part
One clip, and a wire plug, ten minutes.

Could you be that lucky? Give it a shot.
