Warning Buzzer

I think this question may be a repeat, but I couldn't find it on a search.<br /><br />I need to replace the warning buzzer (hot) on my 1983 Evin. 90. (E90TLCTE). It works, just sounds very weak. I have the standard side mount control box.<br /><br />It is my understanding that a buzzer is available that has the "prove out" beep feature incorporated into the the buzzer assembly itself.<br /><br />Is this true? Anyone have a part number?

DJohns..... Yes, you are correct. The original and superceeded numbers of that self testing warning horn are #583891, 585149, 585992. The last number being out of a 1999 book. The number may be superceeded again but that's a starting point.

No, sorry DJohn but any Evinrude/Johnson dealership should have them in stock.
