Was told i need to buy a new flapper

different from my 6 year old though. i am changing (well someone else is) the impeller, manifolds and risers and i was told to order a new flapper to prevent water from entering into the boat upon decelleration.. was not sure of the true name of this, anyone know the real name of this part? for a 99 5.0 mercruiser #0l080844. also does anyone know of the parent company to glm manifolds/risers/parts, i believe i will get their manifold/riser kit off ebay

I'd think flappers are hard to find.. they haven't really been common since the 1920s

not only i need to be lead and told of the way to go, but i also need to someone to hold my hand on the way. i went to don s link and it brought me to a page of 6. i called the customer service number and she could not figure it out.

Those GLM manifolds are an off-shore product,...
I've got them on my boat,+ had an Issue with them,...
If you do a search of threads started by Me,...
You'll find the thread,+ the pictures of the Issue I had....
As well as many comments from other posters about Their experiences with them...

They're going back on,... But careful Inspection of them is mandatory.....
